Introducing The Pianist, a bespoke velvet tuxedo originally created for James Wong's wedding celebration, designed for a gentleman who wanted elegance with personality — a garment that could stand confidently under the spotlight while remaining timeless decades later.
Crafted from luxurious Holland & Sherry velvet, the deep maroon cloth reveals different shades of burgundy and wine as it catches the light, creating a rich visual depth that photographs beautifully both indoors and under evening lighting.
The design features our signature 4:1 Double-Breasted Tuxedo Front, paired with an exaggerated Riviera Shawl Lapel™, creating a sweeping silhouette inspired by vintage concert halls, grand pianos, and the golden era of black-tie dressing.
Inside, a contrasting emerald paisley lining adds a hidden layer of character — a subtle reminder that true luxury is often found in the details only the wearer knows exist.

HOW SIZING WORKS +
If you are in between sizes, size down for a trimmer fit and select +1" in the Waist Size Adjustment dropdown menu. Alternatively, you may also choose to size up for a more relaxed fit and select -1" in the Waist Size Adjustment dropdown menu.
If you are unsure, we'd recommend you to size up as it is always easier to alter a garment smaller rather than larger.
All our garment is cut with enough inlay to allow for up to 1" expansion in the outseams.
